At the moment, the MDT-DADC team are busy preparing for their maiden performance in Indonesia as part of the Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) festival 2023.
It’s been some time since we are performing overseas (The last one being in early 2020 right before the pandemic), and we are looking to dazzle the crowd at SIPA with our performance.
Stay tune as we update you on our performance at SIPA.

SEEDS Here. Not Here premiered to a live audience

SEEDS Here. Not Here premiered to a live audience on 22 July 2023.
In the audience, we had a diverse group of people from all walks of life and background.
They were there not only to watch a dance film but to celebrate the theme of SEEDS; to forge a space of co-existence for everyone.
As the title suggests (Here. Not Here) highlights the status of our disabled community.
Visible yet invisible at the same time!
Yet SEEDS Here. Not Here, allows audiences into the Dream of our disable friends. Allowing persons with diverse abilities and able-bodied individuals to work together. A feat achievable only if we work hand in hand!
As one audience member said of the premier;

“ I couldn’t imagine these people with Down Sydrome could perform so well! I remember while growing up meeting someone of them. They were usually left behind and “forgotten”; nor knowing that they can be trained and encouraged to follow their passion.”

Though the premier of SEEDS is completed we are still available online until 23 August 2023.
